LOCATION: We will meet at the Public Fishing Pier at Lazaretto Creek off of Hwy 80. Come and work while the weather is cooler and before it becomes too chilly to work. I have painted with jacket and gloves on but when the temps hit 50 degrees, we will have a cutoff point for the year. There are views of shrimp boats, little colorful buildings, birds, and water. There is even a distant view of Cockspur Lighthouse.
FYI : Parking is FREE here. Turn off of 80 at the Lazaretto Creek sign . There are usually cars parked near the entrance because there is a boat launch there. Go all the way to the end of the road (great marsh views) Guests are always welcome.
We have just 3 more painting dates including this Wednesday. 1st and 3rd Wednesdays through Nov 16. We have decided not to schedule Saturdays this Fall.
