The cast is 10 wonderful local actors. You will see some new faces on the stage as well as some favorites from past shows.

“The Curious Savage”
A warm-hearted tale of Mrs. Ethel P. Savage, a slightly eccentric, and wealthy widow. She was left a hefty 10 Million Dollars. The Setting is the 1950′s when that kind of money was worth fighting for. She has to contend with her greedy Stepchildren who surprise want the money for themselves. Mrs. Savage however converted the money into negotiable bonds and has hidden them. She has hopes of establishing a fund in her late husbands name. She wants to help other people to fulfill their own dreams. Her dream was to go on stage. Yes, it was rather late in her life to fulfill that dream.

Her stepchildren commit her to a “sanitarium” in hopes of shocking her to her senses and give them the hidden bonds. This is a wonderful story about this insanely outrageous family in contrast to the variety of social misfits she meets in at the “sanitarium”. With the help of her new-found friends, Mrs Savage leads her stepchildren on a very merry chase!

A lovely story about what it means to be a family. The Audience will be sure to leave with a warm and fuzzy feeling and a great deal of laughter during this show.
